I welcome our Googly overlords

The 10 petabyte GooglePod will be out by christmas. It plays music, video, videogames across platforms, is a mobile phone, a palm pilot, and has a built in projector that renders a 70" image in HD. The form factor will be the smallest yet, as a keyfob, that can be programmed to be your TV remote, and to start your car.

That is precisely my hypotenuse

Over the past year or so, Newcastle Brown Ale has been running a radio ad that I find hysterical. But, I can find exactly zero information about it online. Which brings to me a question:

Why don’t all companies with any media presence whatsoever, have all of their radio/TV/print ads available on their web site, in a prominent place? If this particular radio ad was available ANYWHERE, I’d have distributed it to my whole mailing list, and all the folks on the message boards I frequent. As it is, the quote is in my signature, "That is precisely my hypotenuse."

But, no one knows what it means, nor can they search for it and find out anything about it.

Shame.

If anyone knows how to find this ad, please let know!

The "I am bored" blog title

The commonplace “I am bored” blog title...I love it. It makes me want to read more. I want to enjoy your boredom vicariously because I am soooo bored. What are you doing? Nothing? That’s fantastic. Are you sitting? Dammit, it’s like we’re the same person.

And a note about the “I am bored” blog disclaimer: I realize that starting with, “I hate these and I don’t know why anyone would want to read this, but…” is considered a courtesy warning of the particularly inane to follow. Not necessary! Expectations are much lower than you think. So just jump right into your account of picking out a breakfast cereal or the playlist you were going to make but then forgot about and then remembered again. I’m waiting!
