3 Weeks?!

Stupid companies.

I just had a phone interview. Originally, I found the job posted on an online board.. monster or career builder. So, I exchange emails with the recruiter and a couple phone calls... they submit me, a couple days go by, and I get asked to fill out a skills summary I finally get a phone interview. So, its been two weeks of back and forth. I have a 30-minute conversation, and she sets up a face-to-face next Wednesday. We have the whole conversation, finally she tells me.. its a 3 week project.

3 weeks.

3 fucking weeks …its taking 3 weeks to fucking interview for a 3-week job. I just don’t get it.
I mean, sure, it is worth it, the money is good, and I can always look for work while I’m working it. But damn. What sense does it make to look for 3 or 4 weeks for someone to work less than that? What really steams me is that the recruiter, job description, and first 28 minutes of the interview NEVER mentioned it was a 15-day contract.

Geesh.
